PROPHETS OF ADDICTION - REUNITE THE SINNERS

Prophets Of Addiction come with their second album "Reunite The Sinners" around the corner and present good, raw sound. At first listen, I immediately shoots Pretty Boy Floyd in the head. How things turn out, not Baseless: ex-Pretty Boy Floyd Lesli Sanders (vocals and lead guitar here) has its finger in the pie. It has for the song "Kings And Queens" C.C. brought Deville (guitarist for Poison) on board, was mixed and mastered at the end then Phil Soussan (Ozzy Osbourne, Billy Idol). That's something, people! Good stuff the old school, you can not fault it. Ignition does "Reunite The Sinners" only with the second rotation, but is more complex than is assumed. With the previous "Babylon Boulevard" the guys have properly presented and so very "Reunite The Sinners" is not ran at him. My personal favorites are "Postcard From The Grave" and "Exist". Where the latter is an acoustic guitar ballad. Leslis whiskey voice is pleasant dirty. Fans of the New York Dolls, Pretty Boy Floyd and the Backyard Babies need here really come into their own. Very oldschool, with clear roots. Nice.
